Call for Paid Intern

The Bhutan Media Foundation (BMF) invites applications from motivated and media-savvy young people for one position under a two-month paid internship programme at BMF office in Thimphu.
This opportunity is open to youth who are active on social media, have a strong interest in media and communication, and are eager to gain hands-on experience working with a national media development civil society organization.
The intern will be attached to BMF’s Programme Officer and will have the opportunity to:
– Support planning and implementation of BMF’s programmes
– Assist in documenting events and media-related initiatives
– Support the Thimphu Press Club
This internship programme aims to provide practical exposure to programme planning and implementation, social media management, and media development work in Bhutan, along with valuable professional learning and networking opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
– Be a youth with a strong interest in media
– Be active on social media
– Possess good communication and basic writing skills
– Be motivated, responsible, and willing to learn
– Be available full-time for the duration of the internship
