A positive sign for our democracy is that the public continues to place its trust in media institutions. This places a profound responsibility on these institutions to diligently check facts and balance narratives from all parties.
The Prime Minister, during the opening ceremony of the inaugural Bhutan Media Forum in Thimphu today, met with over 200 participants from media professionals, policymakers, academics, civil society representatives, influencers, students, and youth.
Speaking along the theme for this yearโs forum โMedia in the Age of AI and Digital Transformationโ, the Prime Minister reminded the participants that we must move forward with a shared commitment to constructive journalism. One that upholds and strengthens our national image.
