Today, 15 January 2026, we convened a consultation meeting on ‘Bhutan Media Forum’, an initiative supported by the Department of Media, Creative Industry & Intellectual Property(DoMCIIP). 18 key stakeholders from media houses, government, civil society, education, and the private sector came together to deliberate on the Forum’s concept, objectives, and proposed programme agenda.

The rich insights, perspectives, and shared experiences offered during the discussion will play an important role in shaping the Bhutan Media Forum as a national platform for dialogue, collaboration, and media excellence.

We sincerely thank all participants for their time, thoughtful engagement, and continued commitment to strengthening a responsible, resilient, and professional media sector in Bhutan. We also extend our appreciation to DoMCIIP and Dasho Kinley Dorji for their continued support.
