Introducing YUMRA – A Youth Wing of Bhutan Media Foundation

We are thrilled to announce the launch of YUMRA (Youth Upliftment through Media, Reflection and Advocacy)—a dedicated youth group initiative established under the BMF. YUMRA will operate autonomously with its own independent roles, following its governing framework and code of conduct, while remaining under the oversight of BMF.
Rooted in the values of Gross National Happiness, YUMRA empowers young people (ages 13–24) to become informed, reflective, and responsible digital citizens. Through media and information literacy (MIL), leadership development, dialogue, and volunteerism, YUMRA transforms youth from passive consumers of information into confident contributors to society.
What YUMRA offers:
