Training on Sensitive Reporting

The Bhutan Media Foundation (BMF), with support from Helvetas Bhutan and funding from the European Union (EU in India), successfully conducted a one day Training on Women, Children, Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), and LGBTQI+ Sensitive Reporting in Media on June 16, 2026 in Paro.
The programme brought together 18 journalists, media practitioners, freelancers, social media influencers, and youth representatives from across Bhutan. It provided a platform for media professionals to deepen their understanding of the rights, lived experiences, and challenges faced by marginalized groups, while strengthening their capacity to report with accuracy, sensitivity, and ethical responsibility.
